I was a bit lazy on the “communism and socialism teaming up” as an analogy. I just meant if socialism and communism were personified as two people in this meme, they would be working mutually in separate timelines. To improve on the analogy, I could say socialism has a gun to capitalism’s head while giving a handshake to communism sitting behind.

Not even concessions anymore. Just anti-China (anti-Russia, etc.) rhetoric in an attempt to rile the masses towards supporting unprecedented, deadly imperialist wars while the West spirals down toward fascism as it tries to bring the rest of the world down with it.

I predict there wouldn’t need to be a violent revolution between socialism and communism as at that point, we would be acting like civil adults for once. By the time socialism comes to an end, humanity would be conditioned to be not reactionary anymore (or at most minimally). Socialism and communism would be teaming up against capitalism, imo.

I was sort of making a “300 billion die in capitalism” joke, but I was trying to be subtle about it (probably not well). Of course a small time period of a pandemic in human civilization would usually result in less deaths than centuries of a grand structure in human civilization. I probably should have said capitalism is deadlier than all of the diseases in history combined, but I wanted to avoid being misleading in case I made a false statement. Perhaps if one considers comparing the death percentage of Europe’s total population from the Bubonic Plague with the death percentage of humans who lived under capitalism, my subtlety may have been more noticeable, thus I should have emphasized proportional relations.

At over 180,000 letters long, the chemical name of the protein titin is often said to technically be the longest English word. If spoken out loud, this word takes over three hours to say! Its absurd length is due to the fact that proteins get their scientific names by combining the names of all of their joined amino acids together, and titin has quite a lot of them. For obvious reasons, titin’s official name has never actually appeared in a dictionary or scientific text. Because it is a scientific term, many would disqualify the Big M from actually taking the crown as English’s longest word.

I’m not so much of a web dev, but I have a two year degree in Computer Information Systems, which is basically Computer Science (including GUI, web, and database development), though finding a job has been impossible for me, even in IT Support, thus I am going back to school to study Electrical Engineering. I run Gentoo Linux and have intermediate knowledge of the Linux ecosystem, hell even Windows now given my work experience. I’m sort of a jack of “many” trades in IT at this point, more or less, and I learn very quickly.

Nevertheless, I figured such a project would be a fun hobby project, but I have wanted to help out Marxist organizations and websites on their technological front as well. I am super busy, however, and it takes me months to even complete my own projects. I would probably be able to help on the side when I am doing college or potentially if and when I get a job that gives me more free time (hell, even PTO, being a contractor sucks). I already have a huge and growing backlog of projects I have been needing to do, but helping Marxist and tech documentation websites preserve their content has been a major concern of mine, especially in light of Google’s Web Environment Integrity API development.

Thank you for informing me about MIA. I had no idea they manipulated texts and are trots. I am definitely going to be wary of them now.
