  • To be honest though, I feel like queer people that grew up in that period and before were robbed. It sucks and I don’t really know where to place the anger properly. Definitely not on a musician though, personally.

My family, the people I grew up around, yes, but not a musician really, especially when half the time they were probably just looking for an easy rhyme, as compared to someone a foot away from my face saying they wanted to drag me behind a truck. Or saying how wrong it is to be with a guy. I’m not big on ICP but have listened to a few of their songs and if I’m being real I didn’t even notice them saying it. But the other stuff… I don’t think I’ll ever heal from.

  • That’s what I don’t get though, a good thing is a good thing. It’s like when they pretended the ACA was something else instead of “obamacare” so they’d like it… We weren’t all “Ohhhhh you stuuuuuuupid Republicans, you love the ACA but it’s actually (drumroll) Obamacare in disguise!!” we were just happy more people had access to Healthcare that wasn’t going to bankrupt them.

  • Lol, this guy thinks that they looked at our vaccine records 😂 🤣 big dawg they gave us all the same vaccines. You don’t remember that every dude had to go through every station? It wasn’t like “OK you go through stations 1, 4, and 5 for mumps, flu, and xyz because you’ve already had xyz vaccines.” It was every dude getting every shot.

  • Someone mentioned an app for this, there’s also one called Paprika 3 that does something similar. This one you don’t need an account to store recipes though. It can also translate weight to imperial measurements, and solve ingredient quantities for portions like 1/2, etc.

Also generally you can hit the in-page “print” button and the print version is often a one-sheet that cuts out the “my family xyz” bs. To be fair, some of those have real tips or hints or substitutions they don’t include in the recipe proper, but a lot of the time it’s just fluff as you can’t copyright recipes without significant extra steps and exposition.

  • Well… Yeah. It’s a headset that you wear on your head. They’re really uncomfortable. How do you not get a headache from them? How are you supposed to play a game for any meaningful amount of time? I seriously have never see a headset that wasn’t a flop or a regretted purchase for it’s audience. The “metaverse” crashed and burned, if VR was such a promising innovation, wouldn’t it have done well?

VR is just the new version of the same thing that was happening with every iteration of “3D” whatever over the past 80 years or so. It’s always the next best thing and right around the corner, but in this instance the premise is just flawed. A lot of people are still “social” when they game, talking to family, texting people, pausing to watch a video or go get something to eat.

Edit: And just looking up the ram: 16 gigs?? Aside from that, it’s intended for streaming games from a main pc, do most people even have internet that’s fast enough to handle that? Iirc in the US at least the government and companies have been dodging defining what “high speed” is because most of the country doesn’t have access to it. And the resolution specs seem great, but what FPS would it be at? I gotta hazard a guess that it’d be at 30 or so for most modern games.
