I get the impression that Kirk is not staying in this series. Or if he does likely not on the Enterprise for long.
In the latest episode he mentioned being a person who doesn’t stay in one place for long. Also, mentioning the pregnancy to La’an has me thinking he’s there on the Enterprise to help but not to stay.
I think these are hints that he may pop in on a few occasions but not a fixture.
How big is it? Well, technically speaking one foot long.
Vaati is great and I like Hawkshaw as well.
Yes, and proud we are of all of them. :)
Might have to grab a couple oat sodas and peruse the instance. 🍻
The top picture is a car wheel with far too many wheel weights. The bottom is a large amount of wheel weights. They’re used to balance wheels which helps make the ride smooth.
Some people may be superstitious about leaving it at zero. Since I’m only a little stitious I leave it alone. :)
A bought an OEM SNES controller that was converted to USB years back from retroUSB. Just looked now and it seems they may not stock them anymore but they do offer kits for DIY and even usb adapters for some platforms.
There are more versatile controllers for those who need it but I mainly play NES and SNES games so it works well.
Exciting times and a fun blast from the past! I miss the built-in YouTube app with no ads. Oh how things have changed. Some old apps that stand out to me were the many flashlight apps, lightsaber, Flight Control, Doodle Jump, Flick Fishing.
Agreed, I don’t think the situation has gotten any better. That article was a good read. Thanks for sharing MistyMtn421!
This sounds promising! Killing cancer while leaving other cells alone is some seriously good news.
As Bluskale mentions it’s a Kbin UI thing but it will be changing in the future.
If you look to the hamburger icon in the top right of the screen next to your username that’s the channel selector. Favorites is the third one down in the list.
This is what I’m thinking too. Narwhal is sticking around but once Narwhal 2 comes out it’ll be $5-7 per month and more for a user who makes a lot of API calls. If I’m remembering correctly Christian figured it would be close to $10 per month to support Apollo’s heavy users without going in the red. That’s crazy money to pay for access to Reddit.
Yes there are two in the works specifically for Kbin. One is called Artemis. It’s still in private testing right now. The other is not named yet and in very early stages. It’s being developed by the same person, Dan Supernault, who created Pixelfed.
Here’s a link to an article that may be helpful to you. It covers an intro to federated spaces and towards the bottom lists some mobile apps for the platforms.

I like both versions (different eyes) very much. Nice work minnieo!
According to Kbin’s Privacy Policy page many of the servers are in Germany.
I actually like the way it’s written, “the Germany”, and hope it doesn’t get changed. :)
As it stands now the upvote works as a favorite or like, downvote lowers reputation, boost raises reputation. It’s a bit confusing and there’s an open ticket on this. I’m not sure if all old actions will carry over or when the operations change it’ll get reset.
Sometimes the best first step is making a healthier alternative at home. Few food items that are low cost, pre-packaged, ready to eat, will be healthy.
You could skip the frozen or restaurant pizza and make your own with low sodium sauce, use cheese lightly, add healthy toppings.
For cereal instead of the typical sugary stuff opt for oatmeal with whole fruit or nuts. Even Cream of Wheat is better than sugar flake cereals.
It’s not that you have to get rid of all that you like but the goal is to find alternatives with healthier ingredients.
It will take effort on an individuals part to eat more healthy but it doesn’t have to be more expensive. I like to make dinners that last a few days. I make a quinoa and bean chili that I really enjoy. It takes me about an hour an lasts for three days. It has quinoa, kidney beans, diced or crushed tomatoes (low sodium), onion, vegetable or chicken broth (low or no sodium), corn and a few spices.
The drive to do this has to be there. Healthy eating takes some time and effort but, at least from my experiences, it’s worth trying. Once you know dishes you like and how to make them the easier it all gets.
The humor is in the title “Welcome to Reddit. Where a community about your favorite things is waiting for you” and the first post (bottom of image) “Who abandoned their core audience and paid the price for it?”, since Reddit kind of was the first thing (the front page of the internet) and then did the second.
