  • Why is polygamy (or in your words promiscuity) inherently worse than monogamy?

As long as it is acknowledged and agreed upon by everyone involved, there should be no issue. The only problem comes when one person thinks it’s monogamy and the other breaks that trust.

The social player thing is not just a woman problem, in fact I’d say it’s worse coming from men. As another commenter said, men do that shit all the time and only when women start to engage in similar behaviors does it become a problem. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with holding certain values for yourself, I myself could never be a social “player” (meaning casually sleeping around, if I’m interpreting that right) and am not interested in anyone who is, but that doesn’t give you or me the right to pretend we’re morally superior in that regard. I guess the only time I’d feel comfortable shitting on someone is if they’re sleeping around while their partner is unaware. But that could just be trauma on my part, someone educate me if I’m wrong lol.

Anyways, I really suggest you take the time to read what some of our comrades here are recommending and digest/think where these thoughts are coming from.

  • I don’t know, comrade. I think you have a good point in surveillance being strong and having unity against China/Russia among most of the population, but this is changing. Not only that, but we don’t need absolutely everyone to be on board, right? That’s kind of the point of the vanguard, if I understand correctly. To have a spearhead of the most educated and dedicated revolutionaries lead us to victory in the interest of the proletariat. Of course, the more supporters the better, and we must remain vigilant in maintaining the people’s interest, but it is not required that 51% or whatever magic number of people are properly educated and radicalized.

Also, if we just sit back and wait for the situation in the global south to get to a point where revolution is viewed as “ripe” in the US, too, we will run out of time. With climate change breathing down our necks, there is no time for waiting. Revolution must happen at some point in the US and no matter what it is going to be incredibly difficult. No sense in waiting until they destroy the world, I say.

    What do you think?

  • I actually completely agree with you, I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I don’t believe we’re on the precipice of a revolution or anything but given the right material circumstances, good organizing and mobilizing of the people, and a little luck, anything could happen in a few years time.

The contradictions are sharpening faster than ever before and they are a weapon that, if wielded properly, can deliver the blow to the US that the world needs.

If you would have told Lenin in 1914 that in just 3 short years a revolution was accomplished, he would have laughed in your face. I am not calling for head in the clouds idealism, or that America is going to collapse next month or something like that. My point is that it will take work and time, that revolution does not occur spontaneously, and that if we do this correctly I genuinely believe the US doesn’t have to be the last to fall.
