So… Philip K Dick was right then? The Roman Empire never ended and we are living in black iron prisons! I just started reading Valis a few days ago.

The “everyone is 12” theory is reaffirmed once again. The 12 y/o kid who kills little animals with his pocket knife to look cool, to be precise.

I don’t know about cheese and bagels but you need to lack a sense of shame to become a servant of a sadistic and crumbling hegemon.

We’ve always been a colony of
and
Now the government doesn’t care to hide it at all, quite the contrary the president is very explicit about his love affair with yankizionists.
And let’s not pretend that the opposition is any different. Except for some small trotskyist parties with no real political weight.

Fuck Argentina.

They don’t give a fuck about striking nuclear facilities and there is one 10 miles from the South Pars Gas Complex they just bombed. Millions of people exposed to dangerous chemicals…
The lib environmentalist NGOs of course never say shit about imperialist wars.

Let’s hope the yanki government doesn’t go full on with evangelical zionism’s apocalyptic predictions. Those literally believe on the second coming of Christ after a nuclear war on Pissrahell, as in Ezekiel chapter 39.

Oh no… I left the fourth book God Emperor of Dune at 90%, about 60 pages left. I should go finish it but… that book needed a good editor, didn’t it? Maybe my expectations were too high? It had some nice concepts, ngl. Anyway, I’ve heard the final books of the hexalogy are really weird and not in a good way. Is there any good reason to read them?
A killer named “amor” LOL! (that’s love in Spanish)

Yeah it just that it reminds me of this scene from The Simpson about Timmy O’Toole:
Homer: Yeah, that Timmy is a real hero!
Lisa: What do you mean, dad…?
Homer: Well… he felt out a well and… can’t get out.
Lisa: How does that make him a hero?
Homer: Oh, it’s more than you did!

Getting shot at doesn’t make you a hero, what does that word even mean then? lol

everyone here is working together, helping each other, doing mutual aid etc, because oh no these zombies are the real monsters oh shit.
Well, El Eternauta is kind of like this, but about aliens that enslave other races and turn them into zombie-robots.
Netflix did an adaptation of the comic into a TV series last year and it’s quite good.

They were just following orders.

They look like huge pencils with eraserheads.

What the hell is thar orb?

VAYANSE AL CARAJO, YANKKKIS DE MIERDA!!! QUE AQUÍ HAY UN PUEBLO DIGNO!

I have to admit the first time I watched a Jordan Lobster Peterson video around 2015 I found it funny how he made left wing liberals mad although I disliked his pseudoscience and anticommunism from the start.

Both arrangements are vile, but capitalism adds all these layers of obfuscation that hide what’s really going on and feels all the more insidious.
Absolutely. Sometimes in the heat of the conversation I have a hard time explaining to other people why wage labour is just another form of slavery, they look at me like a weirdo and say “But we are free to choose, nobody’s making us do anything!” among other nonsensical reasoning for which my patience is lacking.
If anyone has some good strategies to deal with this situation I’d gladly welcome them.

The problem with seeing the current process as a reversion to feudalism is that one of the key elements of that system was that the workforce was tied to its land and lord. Capitalism comes to change that fact, making the workforce flow freely between territories, masters and professions (all to an extent, of course). This is one of the main factors for such an historical increase in productivity and nowadays it still goes on.
Vinchucas are worse, they shit on the bite wound and give you chagas disease.
