Or the reserves. You can work on the weekends

Fucking LOL!

Do you even know how much governments subsidize the oil industry with taxpayer money? If we stopped tomorrow, we’d have the money to fund these green alternatives. But instead we have billionaire welfare leeches telling our governments what to do.

All I hear are excuses.
Can we agree than there should be some kind of compromise? Maybe not prioritize counting beans over everything else?
We’re seriously lagging behind as China is ahead of the curve with green technology, mass transit, reducing their carbon footprint by planting trees, etc.

It’s time to join the reserves and do some part time service to get ready.
You misinterpreted my comment.
Of course he’s limited to Canada. He can change policies, decide to invest in greener alternatives, etc. But instead all he thinks about is counting some beans. So he’s investing in what brings profit at he detriment of everything else.

So it’s lack of regulation? You know how cars have speed limiters? Maybe they need to apply the same to the various types of e-bikes.
Bicycle? Limit to 20km/h.
E-scooter? 60km/h and they can’t use bike lanes or highways.
E-moto? 200km/h limit, can’t use a bike lane.

We’re so fucked. I seriously have no hope for the future. As long as we elect these politicians that prioritize the economy and deny scientific facts, nothing will change and it’s just going to get worst for the most of us. But those billionaires who are influencing our politics to make those kinds of decisions will be well off, so it’s none of their concerns
As soon as we eliminate these billionaires and eliminate the system that allows them to happen, the better off we will be.

Maybe it’s time they make a distinction between the two. Like an electric car isn’t a go kart.

Oh wow! Has. It ben that long already? In 2008 I had just graduated from software engineering and started my first career job. It took me months before I found a job because of the economic crash. And when I found one, the pay was shit. Cost of living wasn’t as high though so it was ok.
If the pan is going to be really hot, oil is best. Butter will burn and quickly turn brown.
The guy is in the big fucking chair. Right now he has the power to steer the future where we want it to be. But he ain’t going to do it because he can’t think outside the bank. We need someone with more vision and more guts.
Hahaha touché
Fuck man. This is such a shit situation.
We need new cars NOW. But what we ought to be doing is expanding rail infrastructure and public transit.
Got it! I can’t wait for next Saturday’s breakfast! LOL!
Awsome! Will try this. Maybe the oil isn’t hot enough when I put in the egf.
Please tell me your secret to perfect fried eggs!
No. You’re bad at seeing the reality. How the oil industry is propped up by government subsidies paid for by the working class to finance billionaires who give nothing in return.
Like I said in another comment, the day we stop subsidizing the oil industry is the day we’ll have the money to sunsidise the development of greener alternatives, which will then be affordable. And we’ll all be better off.
