I’m conflicted. I don’t want my own living standards to get fucked up any more cause I’m already really poor, but at the same time if it means the rest of the world will be better off I’d be fine taking one for the team. It just sucks to actually be in the middle of it, you know?

I guess at least I don’t have to worry about being blown up so really I shouldn’t complain.

Wouldn’t some of that be offset by less oil being burned due to the destruction of infrastructure though?

By that logic America is worse (which it is, but you know, just following their own argument) because at least China is trying to revitalize the countryside. There’s so many ghost towns around I don’t even want to laugh at it. It’s just depressing.
