I preferred slow-burn, anxiety-inducing horror films. Minsan kasi parang ang cheap ng pelikula na nag rerely lang sa jumpscares amd gory scenes. I still enjoy jumpscare scenes naman.

genre films can be tiresome

Yeah, I kinda stopped watching horror for a while mainly because I live alone hahaha. I watch more comedies nowadays, specifically screwball comedies like His Girl Friday and most Cary Grant movies.

Same energy sa mga nagsasabi na “Di daw maganda na horror movie kasi konti lang yung jumpscare or not gory enough” on any good movie that doesn’t rely too much on those things hahaha.

Buti ka pa you had the patience to explain, I wouldn’t hahaha.

Gosh, how can they find a movie good kung wala silang pake sa story? Shouldn’t a good movie make you care to the story, character etc.?

Hopefully with the release of other polished apps, there’ll be an influx of active users here?

As much as I love FOSS, I admit na hindi ganoon kaganda experience ko with other lemmy apps (until Sync) and that’s why I don’t login that much. A lot of redditors, I assume, browse through phones at kung hindi ganoon ka-smooth experience with the app they’re using, matuturn-off talaga yung iba to use lemmy. On the other hand, we need more engagement here not just by posting but commenting and having a discussion as well.

I changed my password naman after I found out about it. Removed my connected bank accounts din, just to be sure since I haven’t used it in a while.

Me crawling on my way to our refrigerator like some cartoon shit to steal some Zesto instead of napping. The window is open and my parents were in sight so I easily got caught. Apparently, my parents were waiting until I got near the ref before scolding me. That memory always gets a chuckle from me and my parents.
