Damn, Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time so if Lies of P is anywhere as good as that I have to put it on my radar.

I don’t think this is a moderation issue and I’ll give you an example to highlight why. Someone recently posted to the gaming community asking for advice on a something very basic but easily overlooked. The highest rated comments were basically mocking the poster. Not direct insults or anything ban-worthy but they were unhelpful. I don’t think that’s the type of engagement that people who signed up for this instance would like to see here.

One of the highways (4 lanes on each side) into my city has residential areas on both sides of the road. This is obviously very dangerous so the government puts rumble strips and speed bumps every kilometer or so. You can imagine how irritating driving on this road is.

The city was initially planned with racial segregation in mind by our colonizers, so I do have some sympathy for our government. However, they’ve had 60 years to get their shit together we’re stuck in a city that doesn’t feel like it was designed to be lived in.

I remember buying War For Cybertron for the PS3 off of a 9/10 review on IGN. This was back when I could only afford to get one or two games a year so it’s mediocrity stung so bad. Was one of my first experiences with buyer’s remorse.

How about creating a separate sub for that kind of content? It worked well for Reddit. They have r/games for discussion and r/gaming for memes and shitposts.

Disco Elysium’s writing revels in it’s excess and I love it for what it is in game, but I don’t think I’d be able to handle reading about the Franconigerian calvary without Lenval Brown’s silky-sultry voice narrating it to me.

I agree with you on the first point. I just don’t think the creators of Threes! had a valid reason in trying to get 2048 taken down from the app store.

To add to this discussion, what do you all think of the controversy surrounding 2048 and Threes? I think 2048 is different enough to not be considered a copy; it has nowhere near the depth or the polish of Threes! I just think art is iterative. We should have the freedom to take ideas from other works of art and build something new.
