for the nsfw patch itself? probably just some code to halt stuff like blur for nsfw posts and the such. i dont think there is much going on changes wise with the patch. otherwise it is just built on top of the lemmy-ui. IMO

and if you want the specific issue that was this vulnerability: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1895
according to these rules, its on a case by case bases that would be up to the mods/admins of what they feel about the piece and its context. if any of them dont feel comfortable with it for looking too young, will be removed. atleast that is how i read it.
e.g. the rebecca/midna shortstack argument that is brought up in these comments
TBF, the current rules were made in haste and have only been around a short time to mitigate things getting out of hand, so people could think with clear heads instead of putting out fires. also mods are kind of on a churn since we are still dealing with a user base that sees the new shiny and wants to do something with it before moving on (for various reasons, nothing against those people). so there are the occasional community that has a mod that has not done any posting or commenting in 20 days and active mods are trying to figure stuff out with limited tooling.
not to mention that the new rules go some way to helping with that, leaving the mods/admins to interpret the context of the piece and its surrounding media to determine and if any one of them feels it should be removed, it will be. i also agree with @kellySunshine in this message thread
have you tried rebooting the app?
potentially? i think the AI thing has more to do with copyright then consent at this point though and its something society as a whole is still trying to find the boundaries of
that kind of looks like the app is messing up somewhere, maybe try restarting the app? (closing it out completely and opening it again) otherwise does this work with other instances?
yah, probably best to stay within safe harbor provisions as best as possible
if people want a de-blur before the -nsfwpatch gets updated for the web interface try this:
https://lemmynsfw.com/comment/2219
use the 1.2 version of the script, scroll down a little bit and you will need something like tampermonkey or greasemonkey to run it
this is the way, even things like linux distros do this, fascinating to watch though
to add to this, youtube has the ability to be watched with the NSFW UI patch on lemmyNSFW (one of the added expand features [shows on the site as a book] before the update to 18.1)
This, it’s a server specific patch, give the devs some time to update it and it should probably be back
i kinda figured it would require some sort of verification process so we are not banning people for little reason (a record system of bans from communities on the system, via a ticket or rep sheet) and maybe a script to ban if banned from x number of comms, or after it has been reviewed by an admin. though right this minute might be unrealistic implementing this in the near future
i personally would not mind taking over: https://lemmynsfw.com/c/monstergirl
https://join-lemmy.org/docs/users/04-moderation.html
from the documentation there is a way to ban a user from the site, but only admins have access to it, might be worth trying to coordinate with them to ban them
o/ i mod !tfporn@lemmynsfw.com
i am still around, and i do log in fairly regularly, just havent posted in a bit
