Is it the future? I personally like the fediverse because is private and intimate. Having the government on it kinda is uncomfortable, just like big tech

Form the hate I see here towards them I don’t think anyone would do that, just my opinion tho. I think we would only benefit from it.

I red tha article and I think there is a problem in who it was managed at the time, if Google or Meta wants to join they should to us not us to them so if they break federation we should not care and continue implement our stuff, if something usable comes out of them joining we could use that but we are not their slaves, they are going to play in our home so we establish the rules.

Plus I think that if we don’t become meta’s costumer support and I don’t think we will, we are not that dumb, meta joining the fediverse would only benefit us because we could see all the posts from Meta while being on a private add free server, people wouldn’t have to choose between Instagram where all their friends are mad pixelfed ecc.

I tried that method but it hurt my brain, logseq practically forces you to use that because of its lack of folders.

For what I know [[links]] are not supported sorry, maybe in the future. But still I don’t know very much lol.

I used to use both obsidian and logseq the rich text of trilium isn’t that rich it is practically markdown but made simpler with a menu, more like the obsidian mobile app. Practically trilium isn’t strictly hierarchy based, if you wanted you could just slap everything in one folder and link what you want. The clone feature comes handy form people like me that have to have everything neatly organized so if I want a note in 2 folders at the same time I can do that. Sadly the [[link]] format isn’t supported as of now but it has its own internal linking, just press ctrl+L and link away. Well first it is more powerful, just editing files and linking can be done I a few ways, all pretty Uluseful. The main thing is the cloning of files, they are the same file in different directories plus you can self host the web app and synchronization tool and much more, give it a quick read.
