I’ll try it out next time! I was trying to dive head first and probably should have just dual booted until I worked out the kinks.
So BG3 probably runs just fine but my main concern was that I made the purchase on GOG and downloading it manually was a nightmare and I kept getting failures to download or install with the 3rd party GOG launcher solutions. If I could have gotten past that, I would have been golden. I didn’t want to invest the time to figure it out so I just reverted back for the time being.
I was super impressed with Steam + proton though. Insane how far Linux gaming has come.
Yep, my computer is zippy and nice but they won’t even let me upgrade. I’m off to Linux once I’ve finished BG3.
I heard cassette beasts is providing some direct competition but it wasn’t nearly as successful.
HOW TO KILL CHILD
$25 gets you free shipping anyways unless they changed it!
I thought Ohio pizza was just square cut and thin crust which is hardly a style. I’ve been here my whole life and never had that cold pizza style but it might actually be good…or reheat in the oven nicely ha
I tend to have fun on nat geo. Lots of animals and nature news
Yeah, what you’re saying is mostly reasonable but for the mom to do 100% of childcare is bullshit. What kind of dad is that? I personally can’t wait to hold my daughter after work and my “commute”.
While I get your point, Linux has improved to almost 4% this year. In addition, all these people using Steam decks are on Linux, they just might not even know it. I think that’s a great thing, but Windows isn’t going anywhere. Office suite runs too many businesses and makes Microsoft too much money.
I know a few people that drive 45+ minutes to get to a Wegmans because it’s an “experience”, so I wouldn’t put it out of reach for someone to go across town lines for soda (and other stuff) if you consume a lot of it.
Either a thrifted moka pot or an Aeropress is king in this situation, imo. Super cheap, low barrier of entry, and leaves money for a decent grinder in the budget. Not to mention the super short brew time which is key for a lot of people.
Also, get a hand frother! Life changer for making your home cuppa feel higher class.
One idea is to buy frozen pot stickers/dumplings. Those dipped in some soy sauce with rice is cheap and delicious.
If you want to cook a little, add egg, cabbage (thinly sliced), garlic, ginger, and carrots. Basically turns into an egg roll
But I like pocket…I save all my recipes in there
Draino for gutters!
There is usually a power button you press, then hit 6 to set it to 60%
Sprinkle goat or feta cheese on top and you’re riding high
I’m playing Risk of Rain Returns and having a great time with it. I’d love to see how it feels on a Steam Deck, since it seems like a perfect game for that. Still haven’t had a successful run solo but the journey is what matters.
Sometimes fitting in Super Mario Wonder when I’m feeling whimsical. It’s really fresh and the one off mechanics that pop up are really entertaining.
I’m also getting into Slay the Spire for my lunch break game every now and then. Boy howdy is this a great game. My current run was a near bust as I discarded a core card of my deck by accident. I suspect I would have been better off, but I’m still trudging through haha.
Taking some lighter games at the moment but very much looking forward to picking up Metro Last Light and V Rising as my winter games this year. Hoping they’ll be good ones since my gaming sessions will be decimated next year when my daughter is born!
I didn’t see it recommended here yet, but my suggestion is Dead Cells. It’s a 2D game not made by FromSoft but it has a very similar feel.
