• Riget by Lars von Trier. Combines hospital drama with horror and adds a dash of black and absurd comedy into the mix. The third season was also quite watchable, but not as essential as the original show.
• Twin Peaks. All three seasons. Takes a quality dip some point at the second season but the third one really ups the ante and redeems.
• The Office UK. Peak cringe comedy throughout, with a dash of drama. The US version is alright, but really its own thing after the first seasons and not really comparable.
• Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Peak absurd humour. Some of the stuff probably doesn’t fly as well as it did over 50 years ago, but well worth the watch.

I love how the images of Trump trying to look “cool” always end up just adding more comic value whatever the headline or meme.

I spent a bit too much time looking at the still image in my feed wondering what exactly is the tiring part here.

I think the latter paragraph is too generalized. As a vegan I’m delighted if I find a product that tastes like I remember my favourite meat dishes tasted.

Boredom is a big one. Getting bored at the bus stops or in the waiting rooms. If you didn’t carry a book or a Walkman you’d be totally alone with your imagination. No wonder I still smoked back then.

Thanks for mentioning factory farming. These sort of posts always highlight the cognitive dissonance of “the animal loving meat eater”. As bad as trophy hunting is, it doesn’t compare to what the meat and dairy industry does to sentient beings on a daily basis.

A smartwatch or band. You’ll never have to hear notification or ring tones on your phone anymore. In addition, sleep, heart rate monitoring, sports tracking etc. are a big bonus. Cheapest bands are very affordable and obviously there’s no upper limit if you’re a wealthy pig.

Even though I love my old square G-Shock, the pros of wearing my Garmin Vivoactive over it just outweigh the cons.
