I just use *.loc.al as a local dns entry in my own server with local addresses using devicename.loc.al and loc.al itself going to my gateway/routerpage. 😅
Check out cVn! http://cryptovision.live/ Where you can watch user-sourced pre-listed synchronized youtube videos while earning some XNO (Nano) for it, or queue your own youtube video of choice to the list for some crypto-dust, all while chatting in a chatroom with the rest of the viewing community.

Yet if I enter something like ‘resolv’ in Google I need to add ‘-resolve’ to not get hundreds of unrelated results… Same goes for any not-too-popular software that is named a slight misspelling of their purpose… I even find it ridiculous how often first results litterally say underneath they did not contain your query…
But with terabox and “content plaza” it gives 2 results?
Startpage I have no idea, but I’m guessing they, like many, use the Google API for webcrawler results… 1 result? Those are pretty common words,…
Torrents, modded apk’s,…
Check out my results for some chinese download service called “Content Plaza” for example:

Like, 2? On the ‘entire’ internet? 2? Right…
Yeah, as said in another comment too: That’s very likely VLC’s post-processing. It doesn’t look bad on your Kodi, VLC just enhances it as it plays while Kodi actually just shows you the real quality. 😅
I use Kodi too as part of a whole automation setup (so I can use it like a free Netflix that only adds anything I watch while I only need to add filters once per series) and I have gotten used to it now as it doesn’t bother me anymore, but in the beginning I do remember noticing it more too, thus having to make that hard choice for the ease of automation over post-processing. 😅
Kodi is worth it on my Android box, though, as VLC’s magic doesn’t seem to be so effective on Android(TV)… 😜
You’d be surprised… 😂
Here’s a little hack if you do have to use youtube:
Every ad: you swipe down, close video, restart,… After a couple of times doing that, the abuse-filter kicks in and it will just show you the video. If you keep doing that a while, ads just stop for a while as it thinks it’s being abused. 😅
Probably will stop working one day too, but still works for me today.
Add 2 more full versions and it might crash your towers. 😅

Can agree over a universal charging cable, but not over simple math rules…
I don’t see the problem actually.

Oh boy, can’t wait to see if the commenter upvoted my reply for the effort.
If I could find a good Peertube instance, I’d take it upon myself to reupload everything I like there. I collect the 1080p(60h if available) clips locally for Kodi anyway…
As an enlightened I must object.
Everytime I pass this meme, my mind auto-ignores it cause it’s been brainwashed to automatically think it’s an embedded ad. 😅
This just shows how I still need to get used to the fact Lemmy doesn’t do that and and that this image is actually well made. Kudos! 😅
All conspiracies come true if you spread them and wait long enough… Eventually some crazy rich guy will have heard it and make it real. 😅
Humans are weird. 😅
I might have eyed over some parts as it’s lengthy and I have little time rn, but that seems to mostly agree with what I said?
I understood the title cause:

Yep, as opposed to algea’s none.
Hence why we’re probably breathing more algea-breath while not so terribly much from trees (unless you’re standing next to one during daytime). 😅
That had me go and look it up and apparently you’re right that they use part of the carbon dioxide as energy storage, but as I understand this storage eventually gets released in full when the tree dies too…
Not sure if that would be so much to balance it out again, but it does still diminish their overall effect even more…
