I am a firm realist. I’d like to point out two things.

There are two sides: the anti-corpo leftists of Lemmy, and the hyper “where do we sign” neo liberals of reddit.

Lemmy Leftists are sure Google will literally just evaporate tomorrow, and the neo liberals are sure that the singularity has already happened and will be revealed for Christmas.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Google literally cannot evaporate, and they are also probably struggling to improve their models. They will probably find ways to slowly improve them over time, at a reasonable rate.

Thank you for the dose of reality. Of course it would be nice if Florida sank into the sea. But let’s try to stick to reality.

Jill Stein you are actually voting for Trump. Stein knows where her funding comes from, and who those funders want to win, and allows that all to happen.

Not trying to attack or anything, I just don’t understand the logic of voting for someone who actually is just consciously being a spoiler candidate so the worse one will win.

Honestly I don’t mind reasonable data caps. Like I get it, they don’t want someone torrenting 100tb of data in a day. That bogs things down.

But with 4k streaming, downloading 100gb game updates on PS5, and YouTube basically constantly on in the background, I’ll hit the 1TB per month comcast limit in like 2 weeks. And that is just me, nevermind having any roommates at all.

1TB just isn’t enough for the modern Internet.

Oh nice! Yeah this is 100% the best way to go. I use the app Mihon for finding/reading manga, its basically the same as tachiyomi before it got shut down.

The one I use is the Boox 7.8" Nova Air2 eReader. I chose one without a color screen. The color screens are cool and all, but for black and white content, the color layer makes the white more of a grey color. For that reason I don’t recommend the color e ink quite yet.

The 7.8" screen is literally the perfect size for manga. It feels perfect.

I just got a boox e ink tablet. It runs android. I have a sideloaded manga reading app and Google books installed. epub books (found easily on Yandex) can be uploaded to Google books from my phone.

I love it.

So I just watched the clip. Granted the clip was only a few seconds, and yes I believe he is old and senile. But.
