Despite my prejudice against the US most crimes were fairly similar (robberies, burglaries, assault), it was homicides where the US goes batshit insane.
I believe it must be the availability of guns (even on the defending side, making the criminals more aggressive) that makes a homicide happen alongside a robbery where it does not in EU.

The problem us that some corporations manage to manipulate governments by bribery to avoid regulation, not that government or regulations exist.
Are you a libertarian?

If you want the bigger carrying capacity you can still choose the pick-up (especially in an actual professional context where you might need the extra capacity) but you can’t say it’s more efficient.
azuth@sh.itjust.worksto Apple@lemmy.zip•EU stickers show how iPhones compare to other phones, Apple not happy with the regulationEnglish171·23 days agoHmmm? They seem pretty unhappy here
As Apple says, "a 7-inch, low-resolution tablet primarily used for reading is graded on the same scale as a professionally oriented, 13-inch tablet with performance rivaling laptop computers. "
Which is bollocks, efficiency is efficiency, you don’t say that it’s unfair to judge an SUV/pickup truck as more inefficient that a compact because they are more capable or ‘professionally oriented’. Which also is bollocks because Apple’s tablets are targeted to the mainstream and not just professionals.

I have far less concerns with what Iran will do with nuclear weapons than what the only nation that has used them on civilians will do if they believe they can stop nuclear retaliation, a goal they 've been pursuing for decades.
They after all have a much longer history of violating international law and committing atrocities than Iran,wo themselvesarenot saints at all.
That’s without even considering the recent (impressive for an already right wing country) fast and extreme shift to the far right with Trump and co.
