This is half true. There are a few toxic instances and communities.

Windows is a good OS for personal use.

Of course you can always create an account on another instance when your home instance disappears / has issues.

But for convenience reasons you should create it before this scenario happens.

For each service that you use regular you should at least have two accounts. Just in case the service goes down or has other issues.

Laser removal cost 10-100x more than a cover up tattoo. Hurts even more and you need do multiple sessions. There is no guarantee that the removal works and sometimes you get a worse result.

I don’t recommend searching for unsuccessful tattoo removal pictures. You will see some bad removal attempts and also some medical gore.

If this device supported PDF it would be a no brainer to buy. I understand that the hardware is not good enough for PDFs

I had the reverse situation with the joplin sync issue (PC outdated, phone newer version) and solved it by using a pre-release from the joplin github repo.

I am not happy about the situation that breaking changes are introduced without warnings and the versions of the clients aren’t released on the same time.
