Not exactly. PlayStation version uses the same payment methods as the PC version. So though you can’t pay through PS Store you don’t have all this extra layer of Coin crap to deal with that Xbox has apparently enforced on them.

Sooo… they’re not a shitty company, they just make games that you don’t like.
I don’t know if I’ve missed something but what makes Lego shitty?
It’s a fan favourite, often by a large margin. It makes sense in every way to not only finance something that will sell, but will also bring more content to the fans and life to the game. If fans didn’t want it, they would reject it, and they’re not doing that.
Jesus Christ, why?
Ubisoft Exec Says Gamers Need to Get ‘Comfortable’ Not Owning Their Games for Subscriptions to Take Off
I’m already comfortable not owning any Ubisoft games.
Seriously, I will be quite happy missing a game or franchise if there’s a lack of physical media in their lineup of releases. I know it doesn’t make sense for every game, but if it’s to push me towards a subscription service, then I’m just not going to be a customer.
Nice to see some more info on the changes. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this.
Honestly, I picked up on that and wasn’t offended by what they said. Shame that others didn’t and they’re being downvoted for what was supposed to be a joke.
People seem to forget that the ATB stuff started to come in at IV/V. I’m not sure I want the turned based mechanics and gameplay of games like FFII for the sake of misplaced nostalgia. Give me ATB any day over that.
You don’t know what you’re talking about do you?
Why though?
seems to be because he’s never played any of the games to understand that, thats why.
What would you consider the last Final Fantasy game they made with good writing?
Up until now I hadn’t realised it was an online-only game and was probably going to look at buying it. That’s a shame.
They may as well rebrand it The Geoff and Kojima show.
Honestly, there aren’t many games in their back catalogue that I’m interested in. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Hexen and Warcraft 3 maybe, there may be more but those are the ones that come to mind. But I’m not invested in those enough to want to subscribe to Game Pass or buy an Xbox.
Shame, I was looking forward to the big tiddy android witch with gun feet that breathes through her skin.
Honestly I’m getting a bit sick of this “bot” as well. I’ve blocked it now.
Haha there certainly is a lot. There’s plenty of great games to enjoy though. Though I’ve not been able to play lately, XIV is a longtime favourite of mine.
XV is a good choice, a lot of people will tell you it isn’t, but that’s because it can be a contentious game among fans. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and found it to be a really compelling game. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it.
It’s was the lack of backwards compatibility that killed it for me. I’d had niggling considerations of PSVR1 for some time, then PSVR2 was announced and I was all ready to hand over my money. Until it became clear there was no backward compatibility. So I own neither.
