I didn’t follow the links. I just found it funny. I use SoulSeek for downloading. I just occasionally watch live sports on Crack Streams or Meth Streams. Me being hacked? They won’t get much. lol.

Probably Peru or Chile, Northern Chile. Not quite the Atacama Desert, but just south, along the forgotten Pacific coastline. Peaceful, secluded, not terribly pricy, and the people are all quite kind and community centered.

I was laid off in October as part of a restructuring. I knew it was coming months in advance – so when the big day came, I had all of my assets and IP that I had ever built over the last 3 years, already saved on a cloud server. I also purged anything that was unfinished, backed up, or otherwise legally mine to remove because it was not a current project or asset. When I was given my push out the door, I informed them I had already cleaned up any messes left behind, to ensure a smooth, clean space to transition for the new designer responsible for all learning content within the org. They didn’t say anything for about 2 minutes. Then the call ended. It was the single most satisfying departure I’ve ever felt, and to this day I talk shit on social media directly to them, and they can’t do anything about it. I also got a little severance for not quitting first, so added bonus for patience I guess.
Until humanity is taken care of – space is an unnecessary travel destination. Space research doesn’t require inhabiting planets. Not yet. Let’s get fusion figured out and end scarcity. Then we can talk about playing on cloud platforms over Venus or playing with hydrocarbons on Titan.
