And business leaders don’t think past the next profit statement.

wait and see if the next administration is less corrupt.

It’s hard to imagine how they couldn’t be.

Unless there is no change in administration.

Because he has a pathological need to see his name in the headlines on a daily basis.

100% transparent, impossible to corrupt, no baggage.

100% dreaming.

While not providing an especially useful end product, even though that product is displacing well educated and skilled workers.

The last “grass roots” party to gain any sort of traction was the Reform Party.

And we still haven’t recovered from their legacy.

I guess it’s better late than never, but how the hell did this take so long?

That is the way to prevent it.

But, frustratingly, most people who have one will probably connect it to the internet just because that’s what the manual says to do during the set up procedure.

It’s getting harder to find devices that don’t insist on being connected.

There are a helluva lot of things that “I cannot see happening” that the USA is actively doing right now (and over the last decade or more) .

if it’s optional features I would never even touch then ehh whatever.

Until they push a software update to your device to force using the app for basic features…

This is far from a Nintendo exclusive problem.

It’s only strong consumer protection laws that stand in their way.

There are (admittedly inconvenient) actions I can take to reduce how much I’m tracked, and also to intentionally pollute a portion of the tracking data that they do collect.
