I suspect you would enjoy the story of Furbeowulf.

That page is old enough that it doesn’t seem to support HTTPS. If your browser automatically converts HTTP to HTTPS, you’re going to get a warning about an insecure connection. Here’s a wayback machine link that supports a secure connection:

It doesn’t have to be but it is.
Potato Soup. Nickname Potato.
You can thank Norman Vincent Peale for that.
I believe they are pointing out that, despite the fact that this is being done by a group that is trying to make Trump look bad, it will be viewed as making him look good to those on the far right. They like dictators so long as they’re part of the in-group.
Hephaestus seems the most likely to leave me alone. The gods are so capricious that I’d prefer to not have their attention.
They said he couldn’t move the Georgia RICO case to federal court, making it less likely that any other defendant will be able to, either. It can still go to the Supreme Court which may change things. Saved you a click.
It can’t be used with ProtonVPN (I assume) but I use NoRoot Firewall for exactly this purpose. It works by setting up a VPN and letting you enable / disable network access for each app, including system apps. It can also block on just WiFi or just cell data or both or neither. It blocks all apps by default until you configure their access. You can also setup more advanced rules for all apps or just some apps. For instance, you can set it where an app can contact AppCompany.com but not Google.com

Jordan Sather, a prominent promoter of the QAnon conspiracy theory, suggested that Swift’s life had been orchestrated as part of a sinister plot to encourage her fans to vote.
There a few other people quoted in there but it’s all the same sinister plan they are proposing: The psyop is encouraging people to vote.
Republicans see large voter turnout as a bad thing because they are less popular than they want you to think they are. This is not new, it’s just a new target.
Several bodily functions that involve expelling fluids feel good in moderation. Pooping, peeing, sneezing, even vomiting can be nice if it’s the kind that makes you feel so much better afterwards. Try doing any of those several times in a row or once for a very long time, though, and it overtaxes you body and starts to hurt. There was even a paper I read (and just went and found it again) that studied the time it takes for the pleasure to turn to displeasure through repetition or duration.
Let’s get to the root of it, though: The goals of the House GOP are not what you would consider to be good goals. Voting for impeachment makes perfect sense if the goal is to de-legitimize the Trump impeachments, make Biden look weak, and score points with a base who doesn’t care about facts so long as they own the libs. None of that aligns with governing or upholding their oath, but that’s not their goal.
I mean, you can, though. Maybe you shouldn’t do it, but that’s only if the negative consequences outweigh the positive.
This article just discusses another article that’s behind a paywall. It says the first type of person is goodwilled Republicans who want to believe Trump isn’t a terrible person so they believe / justify whatever is required to maintain that belief. Unless I missed it, it doesn’t discuss the second type of person. I presume it’s terrible people who believe Trump has done terrible things but they lie that because they’re terrible.
My lord? Yes? My lord? What now? Let’s get digging! Ho! Alright.
… Did Omer repost their own post with an added sad emoji?
I somehow misread the title as “The Spider That Isn’t There” and was prepared to read an SCP article about a spider that doesn’t exist but still bites you.
