Yes, we definitely needed a billionaire’s defender here, because we don’t see enough of their point of view in all the medias they bought.

“Strictly follow the law. We’re all equal. And trust that we spent literally millions to write them so that we’d make them completely fair and not ridiculously imbalanced in our favor!”

  • They are not a racial, religious or cultural minority. They can absolutely change their “group” anytime they wish.
They are people who continuously decide to harm others for their own benefit, and at their stage, the only benefit they can imagine is hoarding more and more wealth and use it to get more and more power.

And power they have, and they use against the rest of people.

No one became fascist by dehumanizing the fascists.

  • Do billionaires ever get punished for crimes? Apart from Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire who managed a chidren raping ring apparently consisting of only 3 people: himself, his partner, and Prince Andrew, and no one else, based on current investigations and due process…

    Wilhoit’s law:

Conservatism consists of only one proposition:
“There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does lot bind alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

It took thousands of years for humans to build the first car, and now they make them in just a few years. Should you avoid them?

No, because we simply learnt how to make them faster. Same goes for microbe isolation.

The flu vaccine is different every single year. It’s been used for decades.

As for the coverage time, how many billions of people data do you need before you decide they are statistically significant??

Even if you’re the last unvaccinated on Earth, there is still a chance that you’re also the only person in the world who’ll have a strong reaction. We’ll put a stat out there: 1/10,000,000,000 chance of bad reaction.

So my personal standard “lets wait 2 decades” isn’t even that big, because average is 4 decades.

After a few weeks, there is 0 trace of the vaccine in your body. 0. For mRNA vaccines, it’s even faster: a few days at most.

I don’t know that in detail and I didn’t research it.

So you admit your previous statement was baseless?

In my country this virus wasn’t such an overwhelming question of life and death as it was in US, apparently.

US was yet again a “special” place. The issue with Covid were:

    • A high number of people requiring intensive care coming all at once and saturating the healthcare network. That was the dominant factor to mandate confinements: make sure we don’t have everyone exposed at once, because if that happens, you run out of ventilators, and you have to decide who will die among your next patients, knowing you could most likely have saved them, and no guarantee the one you picked will actually survive…
    • Lethality for people who would otherwise have a “normal” life (i.e.: not specially in a bad health, not having bad habits, etc.). The number may not be that high, but it was statistically significant. -Even higher lethality for vulnerable groups. -Long Covid: some people infected have heavy symptoms years after the infection. It’s still poorly diagnosed. They can be almost continuously exhausted, have no more taste senses, and other issues.

I don’t personally know anyone who was even sure they had it or died from it.

Not because you don’t see an apocalypic scene Hollywood-style does it mean it’s not doing severe damages in the background.

From this thread I get it that it was some kind of plague in US where literally everybody were dying left and right from this virus.

I don’t know how you read that. I certainly don’t. And I don’t live in the US either.

because the virus itself isn’t even scary enough.

Good for you you didn’t die from it or got a long Covid. I know a nurse who had countless cases of people routed to the ICU, for tubing and everything, and most of the time, they were asking for the vaccine now, because it hurts so much. Unfortunately, at that stage, that’s too late: tube, pain, months to recover completely.

it’s just more reasonable to question the vaccine in absence of longer timeframes of data

It’s hardly a matter of longer timeframe, for any vaccine. For the safety part, It’s a matter of how many people got the shot for whom we have follow-up info on potential reactions, and for the efficiency, indeed, it’s longer. In the case of Covid, exposure was so high that the data could be collected very fast.

I expect scary enough virus to be observable empirically and socially, not only in numbers given from above.

As said above: not because you can’t see it… But any ICU would have showed you.

In this particular case, you don’t trust your gov, your countries scientists, the rest of the world’s scientist corpus. But a bench of folks on Internet with 0 medical background telling you the vaccine is dangerous and the Covid-19 is not that much, that’s clearly something you should take in account.

You get in a car absolutely confident it will not explode after 2km because a small group of engineers you’ve never heard of designed, tested and qualified that engine. In case of an accident, you assume the airbag will deploy because a small group of engineers you’ve never heard of designed, tested and qualified the airbag trigger sensor and the airbag itself. Are you an engine expert? Are you an airbag expert?

You get in a plane assuming it flies because a small group of engineers you’ve never heard of designed, tested and qualified the plane to fly. Are you an aeronautic expert??

But if a group of doctors develop a vaccine that is then tested under supervision of thousands of their peer, with thousands more checking the data and claiming they look good, including most likely your own physician, suddenly it’s too much uncertainty and you need to become an expert in the field to trust them.

Yeah, you know, I know a great total of one person who had that strong reaction to the vaccine: heart going turbo, had to go to the emergency, doctor recommending not to take the 3rd dose.
Assessment: the vaccine is dangerous the virus would most likely kill you.

Now you need to think about all these smart people unvaccinated “trusting their immune system”, probably carrying the virus because guess what: unvaccinated are contagious for longer than vaccinated, as they are: fucking killers.

“In order to make everyone comfortable about it, the Ebola-27 vaccine, Ebola-27 currently killing hundreds of thousands people per week, will go through the slowest possible trial protocol, and based on preliminary data, should be available before humans total extinction.”
