/s in case

oh, I’m back at my computer once I get home…my bosses would definitely notice if I stopped responding to emails at 2!

thankfully I basically set my own office hours on days I’m in. Usually at my desk by 7, leave at 2. Avoid most commuters that way (even when I’m on my bike!)

The ABC are an absolute joke these days, which is an extremely sad and dangerous place for the Australian public to be in (see also the judgement on Antoinette Lattouf)

I’m not sure what your presentation was for, but as an academic who has watched many, many presentations, I guarantee yours was much better than you are imagining. I know this because a) people presenting in academic setting are way too hard on themselves, always, and b) because of a, everyome in academia is actually pretty cool about presentations.

you’re not on the RMs?

As an academic, weekday finery means a collared shirt instead of a tshirt. And my nice jeans.
what do you feed it? wife and I have a maggie who has taken to chilling in one of our trees. We want to encourage her without making her at all dependent, and certainly dont want to give her anything she shouldn’t have.
