You could use KDE Connect and do it wirelessly as well. Who needs cables for anything but charging these days?
One downside here is the kid is going to be told, at least as far as he can understand it, that daddy didn’t want to go. And the kid, not understanding the nuance of the situation, won’t understand that it’s because mommy fucked up their relationship.
If it were me, I’d go and do my best to enjoy the trip. Babysitting duty doesn’t sound so bad when it’s your own kid and you get to share travel experiences with them.
Orphan Black was great. The most insane part was how you could tell which character was pretending to be another character even though they look the same. Tatiana Maslany did fantastic work on that show.
They brought back the paper edition of the Onion and also gave the writers more freedom to write random shit. It sounds like they liked what The Onion was and want to make more of it.
I think for the mos part it’s fine, but Windows doesn’t seem to like sharing NTFS drives. So keeping an old NTFS drive with all your games is generally not a problem, but sharing an NTFS game drive between Windows and Linux sometimes causes issues.
To confirm, the actresses are Demi Moore, Julianne Moore, and Mandy Moore.
From a quick test, that does seem to remove most data.
Instead of that, if you’re going to through that process for just a few files, the Details tab in the file properties has a link at the bottom to strip all that stuff.
If you’re on Windows, right click an image, and go into the properties. There should be a Details tab where you’ll find a bunch of text fields that can be edited.
There’s also data that doesn’t even show in there. For example, your camera/phone could be set up to save its GPS coordinates in EXIF so that you can keep track of where the pictures were taken. Naturally, unless it’s stripped from the file, that data can be seen by anyone who has access to the file.
Most image editing software should be able to delete any EXIF data, but there is also software that can mass-edit all of that stuff to simplify the process.
Keep in mind that we’re in an echo chamber here. We see and read stuff that most people don’t care to know about, and we communicate amongst ourselves without considering the people who are outside of our echo chamber. In the same way people last week were googling about Biden dropping out of the election, a lot of people don’t know what’s happening with a lot of things around them. It doesn’t make them bad people, just ignorant.
I don’t know how to do it, but I know it’s possible to get your motherboard’s HDMI port, if it has one, to display the output from the GPU. Might help you hold out if you’re not otherwise looking to upgrade.
I would guess it’s a juvenile peregrine falcon
There are a lot of morons out there. And some actually might be swayed one way or the other.
Just because you practice doesn’t mean you’ll always get it right.
I’s recommend SLIFT’s album UMMON. It’s an interesting mix of psychedelic-prog rock/metal.
Their other albums are also pretty solid, but Ummon is their best IMO.
Gay is another word for homosexual. Someone who is attracted to the same gender.
Not to excuse literally anything else Israel has done, especially lately, but literally every country does this. In this case, they just got caught doing it. It just looks worse because Israel has been in the spotlight for the last year due to the genocide they’re committing.
So when you pronounce every word wrong, you can make it sound like something else. Neat.
I’m not sure of the answer, but I feel like other commenters are just guessing.
My reason for doubting the dongle is that Bluetooth is designed to be ultra-low-power. We’re talking in the low milliwatts range.
I don’t know how much power a 2.4gHz dongle uses, but I would be surprised if it was less than Bluetooth. However, in terms of laptop battery life, it’s probably not significant enough to really matter. It’s not like either one will cut your batteey life down a noticeable amount.
I was mostly joking, but KDE Connect has made phone-to-PC transfers much more convenient for me. I’ve only tried it between Android and Linux, but once connected, it basically nounts my phone as a drive that I can browse or copy/paste to and from.
Generally, I only use a cable to charge, and I rarely need/want to transfer files at the same time as I want to charge.
