So spent the morning tidying up and cleaning, the afternoon seeing the real estate agents and chasing things up…
Long story short, the house is on the market and it feels like a huge burden has rolled off my shoulders.
Now to get it cleaned out and sold!

Possibly the extensions, leaving the original 1920’s bit? Yeah, could be.

Couldn’t get back to sleep as the moment I started drowsing something would pop into my brain that needed to be done. Plus I was suddenly really hungry.
Cats have already blessed me with a stinky shit and a hairball… well more of a hair tube. Better now than just as the estate agents are knocking on the door, I suppose…

Ha! I was right about them moving the house. They started up the truck about 10 minutes ago. No wonder Zooks came in and woke me.
Sounds like they just left. No ominous crashing noises or outbursts of swearing either.

Had a stickybeak when I brought the bins out. The house next door is on the sodding great truck that’s been parked out in the street the last few days.
They said they’d do a doorknock to let us know when it was going to be moved, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes tonight regardless. Mind you, the angle it’s parked they’re either going to have to go the wrong way up the service rd, do a lot of careful turning, or drive over the median strip.
I shall keep you updated though I’m probably the only one interested.

Suit and tie or dress trousers and contrasting blazer, possibly tie? Preferably not black.
Mind you, last time I went to a christening was in the nineties.

Lots of clanging noises and a lot of swearing going on next door. Good thing I don’t need to go anywhere today.
In other news, I’ve been perusing the real estate pages and found a few places that definitely look doable. None tick all the boxes, but they’re mostly ones I can live with as long as there isn’t body corporate involved.
It all depends on what the real estate agents say I can get for this one.

So I’ve set up an appointment with the real estate agent to look at selling the house.

They do, Kit kat had one and Sammi has one, not sure if Topes ever did and I’d have to check Zooks.

Apparently so! It was built in the twenties or thereabouts so the plan is to cart it away elsewhere and build another house or houses on the block.
Hopefully I’ll be out before that really gets underway…

Next door’s knockdown aka house removal is proceeding apace - guys were there early and got stuck right in.
So far there’s already been one “whoa! crash” and one clanging noise “Nice work Andy, you fucking broke it!”
Get your bets down as to whether the house makes it out the gate in one piece, or at least the pieces it’s supposed to be in.

I went from having the fire going to having the windows open.

Apparently the suitable place for Zooks to eat her cat fud was the step leading to the back room.
