Yes fuck em, but maybe republicans will see what they did and vote blue next time. Maybe? If this guy truly learned from this then he is redeemable and so do some other republicans.
I use Arch btw

I get your point but one has to be realistic. It takes me half an hour to get to the park by car, it would take me like at least an hour, multiple transfers, and lots more walking if I go by bus.
My region isn’t even impossible to use public transit either it’s just way more convenient with cars and public transit hasn’t gotten better. I would love more frequent buses or rail system but a man can only dream.
Interesting. I feel 99% of lemmy uses that ! Format
Man I miss that reddit sub about car fucking
I consider this a win
That’s epic. But I already have the setting on ddg to only use AI when prompted to
Regional park I went to last weekend charged for parking. So being the broke removed I am, I parked in a Walmart parking lot a mile away and walked in.
You’re telling me I can self host a garmin server?
Honestly didn’t believe the year of the linux desktop would be this year. I say it every year as a meme and it’s actually here
Yes you’re right. Idk how but I found Linus’s forked repo first and saw on a couple websites that he did start the development for it.
A bit of history:
In fall of 2011, when a forced lull in kernel development gave him a chance to start a new project, Linux creator Linus Torvalds decided to tackle his frustration with the lack of decent divelog software on Linux.
Linus worked with a team of developers, and Subsurface is the result. It now supports Linux, Windows and MacOS and allows data import from many dive computers and several existing divelog programs. It provides a quick and easy way to see the key information provided by a modern dive computer and lets users track a wide variety of data about their dives. In fall of 2012 Dirk Hohndel took over as Subsurface maintainer.

My dad is a republican and also a usps worker. Idiot thinks he’s safe. If it’s a govt program that offers some miniscule benefit to the public then republicans will gut it because of how much it “saves”.
Mexico been having this since forever. Is Mexico our role model? How many decades before cheap government chocolate with no artificial ingredients?
Rob is a fucking legend. And the answer is yes.

Yep joined lemmy around API controversy. It’s been like 2 years on lemmy for me. Loving it
Year of the Linux desktop
Yeah sometimes I gotta do annoying ass captchas because of this
If you use apple images or whatever the fuck it’s called then they have the same thing. Unless you do their e2ee thing and hope they don’t hold the decryption keys for that.
I would’ve happily paid the parking fee to support maintenance of the park don’t get me wrong, but as I stated, I’m a broke removed right now and can’t afford paying a fee to walk in the park.
I’m not saying it’s an impossible dream, I’m saying that if you were to walk in a park a 30 min car drive away using public transit, then at least half of your day would be gone.
Going to work also takes me 45min-1hr car drive. If I take the bus and walk, my life would be a living hell.
