  • So essentially even if the school isn’t what trump would call propagating it, you can’t even have the students enact on it on there own? If that is the case then. Again, the choice is still wrong that they are suspending the student so to that extent (that the decision is still wrong) I do get it. I just wasn’t as caught up to where exactly Trump’s policy were at the exact enforcement.

essentially you can’t have any “wokeness” (the rights words word not mine, as to why I quoted it) regardless who it comes from in public education. I still disagree with the fact the student got suspended. That wasn’t going to affect that. (if you knew that, that’s fine just putting that out there so people know where I’m coming from.)

  • Yeah that’s a worse case scenario.

    Let me tell you why.

Trump said that the schools shouldn’t be directing it essentially, or risk being defunded. However, I don’t think his policies actually target the students them selves. If the student does come out on there own they shouldn’t be suspended period.

My point here is, If Trump doesn’t say that there shouldn’t be any students coming out at all permitted to attend schools, then not only is the school taking a transphobic action suspending but they are over enforcing trumps guidelines.

Thoughts? Maybe I missed something and that is something Trump directed someone can fill me in maybe. Either way doesn’t matter this is still wrong.

  • Ok so here is my response to this topic in general. I like to look at it at a glass half empty perspective.

So very clearly, the Bible says that everyone sins, so under the Christian theology, every Christian is equal when it comes to what the Bible seems as sin. Which means, Christians should 100% be allowing trans people into the churches. There’s one quote in the bible that actually proves my point against any church that might kick a trans person out of a church just for being trans.

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye”

This quote can be interpreted in different ways.

    1. does it mean don’t talk down on your fellow neighbor, unless you know you aren’t committing the same sin.

    2. Or does it mean don’t talk down on your fellow neighbor if you are also committing some sins yourself. Doesn’t matter if its the same sin or another type of sin.

In the 10 commandments, I don’t believe it says anything at all about not being permitted to transition. neither does it in the 7 deadly sins. If anything is mention and it isn’t a commandment or a deadly sin it might actually just be a cultural thing at the time told in the story.

So in other words if it isn’t included in these 10 commandments or deadly sins, then ideally then transgenderism was never a sin in the Bible in the first place. Anyone treating it as such is just transphobic.

Where it says in the Bible “God created man and woman.” This is a quote in the bible Christians’ seem to point to a lot. But this doesn’t say anything about banning transgenderism at all.
