If the wind is in the right direction and it sufficiently dry, it will have no problem leaping over I think.

Of course this is better than nothing indeed, but I think this has more to do with the cables themselve and preventing them from “earthing” if they would sink.

That dry vegetation looks like it will have no problem burning like hell
