My hope is mostly utilitarian–there to put up a good front so I don’t discourage others.

I even do believe that humanity will survive. However, it’s pretty clear climate catastrophe will shift from having an indirect death toll in the hundreds of thousands to having a direct death toll in the tens of millions. It’s going to be extremely, extremely rough.

FIDE, the international governing body for chess, is a shit, utterly corrupt organization that has been captured by Russia for years. The French chess federation, Canada, and even the USA have actually been supportive of trans players.

It’s a fair cop really. Lots of my peers buying this antisocial, toxic, “fuck everyone, I got mine” garbage. Still when I get on the front line protesting and stuff, very encouraged to see a mix of people from all ages and other demographics. It’s everyone’s fight to make a kinder world.

If it was built with public money, it should be appropriated to public use.
