2 months agoShock therapy in the former socialist bloc killed millions of people. The Neoliberal Holocaust cites older research putting the death toll at 7 million, and more recent (though currently unpublished?) research at 16.9 million.

Sovereignty is a huge issue here - handing control of critical infrastructure to a US oligarch is just begging to be coerced and exploited.
