Swift has matured significantly over the past decade — extending from cloud services to Windows applications, browser apps, and microcontrollers. Swift powers apps and services of all kinds, and thanks to its great interoperability, you can share code across platforms.
You guys are aware that Swift has been an Open Source project since Swift v2.2 (released 2015) right? While Apple are still one of the main contributors, it’s open for all platforms to use, whether they chose to adopt it is a completely different topic. They don’t use the best license for OSS though.
