I liked my 4 days 10 hour schedule. Currently on 12hr days and a 5-5, 4-5, 5-4, days on - days off rotation. I like it even more although it seemed weird at first. After doing 10 hour days 12 hours isn’t so bad especially getting 4-5 days of rest.

I work 9-5 weekdays and 8P-3A Sa - Th, so my real weekend is Friday because I can sleep in Saturday morning.

To be fair, my night job is WFH and mostly passive (monitoring computers) so I usually only have about 1 hour of effort for the shift. Otherwise I would not be able to make that work ha.

Try to do your homework in class i.e. slip chores into the week as much as possible, and then free up a rest and relaxation day. That seems to work best for me.

For about 10 years there I never even had two days off in a row. Granted, an upshot to that was at least one day was usually a weekday, so places were actually open and you could get apointments made and stuff done and all that. But then that, too, becomes its own work day.

That’s where I’m at currently. I have to book off if I want two days off in a row. It’s not the worst though, as I usually only work 2-4 days straight before a day off. Not always, I have done 10 day stretches before, but it’s typically only 2-4 days in a row.
