I think ive already said, there a line, and its pretty far beyond crossed regarding my empathy and im pretty happy with the level ive got, its not low, crimes against humanity are just like…a really big deal to me. And part of me likes revenge a lot. The best revenge is always living well. But that high road requires basically the same steps as the low road. So whether im feeling mad or hopeful im covered.
Revenge is 100% a social-emotional pathology, that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about how one fairs in terms of thinking on their feet talking to these people, that intellectual respect can put your expectations so out of wack (see your “generosity”) that when they surprise you with how terrible they are, it can throw you off. That’s all.
