Most farmers i know are pro trump, and Canadian. None of the deserve any sympathy. I hope all thier fields are infested with locusts.
On the one hand I agree, on the other hand, I like eating food.
They aren’t growing anything you can eat.
It’s either soybeans for Chinese animal feed, or on off years, corn for American animal feed.
Farmers in the US grow a lot of alfalfa for Saudi Arabia as well.

Farmers often could be considered petit bourgeoisit, if that helps explain how they vote. They own a shitload more land than any of us could afford.
