Today’s game is some more Shadow of Mordor. I unlocked Caragor mounting today and legitimately I’m so happy. I have a soft spot for anything vaguely feline and the Caragors are no exception. So to have some sort of semi pacifist option to keep them alive is so nice. I’ve stopped killing them and started going out of my way to keep them alive now.

I ended up doing all the War Chiefs too. I worked especially hard to get one called Maku the Funny all the way up to War Chief. This guy is honestly my personal favorite so far. I doubt Shadow of war will let you carry troops over, but I wish it did just so I could have Maku.

Outside of Maku, I spent all day just hunting War Chiefs and officers and bringing my guys up. It made me feel like I was in that one scene from The Two Towers movie where they’re chasing the Uruk-hai.

The game really likes to make me visit this one specific fort over and over. Most troops seem to spawn here. My guess is because it’s got a high population density compared to the rest of the area, so the chance is higher there.

Now that I’ve got my army setup, I think next I’m going to work some more on the story to get through that. The branding system has made stealth a lot easier because I can brand a few snipers before leaping into combat. Then I have some coverage.
I love these posts and don’t mean to complain but atleast for me it seems every image except the initial one is broken. It’s only able to load the first image.
Same here
Thanks for confirming it’s not my setup.
And now the images work for me
Yeah, he fixed them.
Here as well.
Isn’t there just one image? Man on some kind of beast?
It’s fixed now
Yep I see 4 more images now, cheers
Shit. It must have been my client. I was using my phone to make last night’s post instead of the usual website. Thanks for catching that! I’ll have to fix it here in a bit
No problem. Thanks for fixing it.
That skill that lets you warp onto a beast and instantly tame it was so fucking amazing.
I just got that today, I’m so fucking glad I actually unlocked that before beating the game. It made a lot of the stuff way easier
If you enjoyed this game, you’ll really like shadow of war. It expands on a lot of the systems introduced in mordor and I really enjoy the nemesis system in that game, especially at higher difficulties.
That’s the general vibe I’ve gotten seeing people talk about War vs Mordor. Mordor laid the foundation but War was the one that refined it
You are amazing. I have not paid super deep attention to these but seem them nearly every time you post and think that what you are doing is really cool.
I’m curious what your Steam replay looks like
I can’t seem to find it right now but I remember Red Dead 2, Halo MCC (with the most hours), and The last of Us Part I were all pretty major ones
