Avatar 3 comes out tday
Remember when for a hot minute half of hexbear pretended Avatar was a revolutionary movie ? Not trying to start anything just thought it was funny. (Coming from someone who enjoys these movies)
I’m going to the theater in a giant foam finger and ball cap that says “Go Blues”. I don’t see how there are ANY politics in this.
And hidden inside that foam finger? Over 30 Karl Fazer Thins to snack on during the 3+ hour movie and save over €15 in concessions shakedown fees.
I remember commenting that it was cathartic because of gruesome kills on colonialists but nobody seemed to think Cameron had read Franz Fanon
It was a chapo podcast bit… were people being serious?
What really =? Was I being misled ? I legit thought people were glazing the movie quite a bit (and again I enjoy these movies)
They’re about the most anti-colonial movies you’re going to get out of a old white Canadian man
Which is to say they’re fine, but not dandy
Im not shiting on the Avatar movies. I like them
I assume the “core” message if you will is even good by Hollywood standards so there is that. It was just cute seeing some folks glazing movies that are like blockbuster movies.
I listened to the episode where they really earnestly pretended it was revolutionary but i know they have mentioned it was a joke explicitly since then.
Some people could legitimately get their opinions from felix biederman and believed them? I would believe that
Okay . Then its totally possible I mistook some folks memeing for being serious (I still think some posters legit thought Avatar was revolutionary cinema)
I honestly thought the chapos were glazing it sincerely at first myself tbh
3h 17m runtime
wew
Movies are too damn long these days. I wait to watch my slop at home (plus
lmao)
Me after watching a horror movie by myself in my room:
Poster reads: I see you, you are not alone

Avatar is proof that no one is inmune to catgirl propaganda.
These are the ads you get on the side of The Hub on Pandora
