The world needs to disconnect from American tech companies completely. They’re aligned with Shitler and the turd Reich and thy will very predictably be used as tools of war against you

Politicians don’t act until it affects them personally, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see complete inaction before a full frontal cabinet member orgy makes it to the front page.

I’m no good at prompts. Just be sure to buy some accounts with conservative comment history so it doesn’t get censored whatever you go with. In group/out group rules with their ilk, remember. Then hire bots to upvote and comment on “Mark Carney bukkake.”

Probably target MP’s with the thinnest skin who seem the most terminally online.

I like this idea. Wonder what it would cost…

Those ‘fuck Trudeau’ flags make for very awkward prompts

Anyone still using twitter is either ok with Nazis or hopelessly addicted and coping…which means they’re ultimately ok with Nazis.

I am going to play devils advocate right now and say the Canadian Government should not leave Xitter. Not because it isn’t a cesspool, I deleted my profile ages ago. But I feel they should keep and continue to post on Xitter since if they stop they will allow others to control the narrative. And despite our views that we should support alternatives, Xitter is still insanely popular.

If the Canadian Government should do anything they should either make their own Social Platform (like their own Mastodon server), or move over to BluSky and use their old Xitter accounts as a Mirror. Where content and important messages are still posted, but discussion and replies are on the other platforms.

Eventually when Xitter implodes like other social media before it, then the Government already has established social media ready to go.

Staying on it keeps it relevant, enhances network effect. Leave and network effect is removed.

Move to an open system, blusky afaik doesn’t qualify, it’s still centrally controlled, go to mastodon

Even assuming that staying on X to influence the narrative (a) works and (b) is worth the downsides, one needs to adopt the policy of making e.g. the Mastodon account the default, and post on X only a subset of what is posted on Mastodon. And of course be verbal about this.
