If I would have to guess, the guild kick was a joke itself, and they were re-invited immediately after.
You’re being far too kind to full-time WoW players.
You’re the one choosing your guild. I’ve never had anything but pleasant interactions within a guild like this.
Of course, there is a set of WoW players that are insufferable, but that is the case for any set of average humans.
In any case, with no information to go on, it’s simply nice to assume the nice thing happened, and not necessarily very nice to try to make it seem terrible :)
