Most unreal episode. ICE would never take anyone to the hospital. They would disappear or die in the concentration camps.
It was a pretty weak episode. HBO had nothing to worry about, it seems. Would have liked to see some accidental hospital deaths for the agents, but instead we got strongly worded complaints by the staff.
I don’t think they needed to show accidental deaths since we see that on the news already. They showed some ancillary issues like how the lady was roughed up, how the family can’t be informed, how their presence is resulting in deaths because patients and workers simply disappeared.
There was also a pretty strong line explaining that ICE aren’t helping, instead they are hurting people by simply existing.
I thought the subtext was pretty strong.
I meant the “accidental” death of an agent.
Yeah it’s not even over. The agents roughed up and arrested one of the nursing staff so that’ll play out over the next episode or 2 I’m sure.
