Teetotalism is quite common in Russia actually. Cultures with higher rates of alcohol consumption ironically also have higher rates of teetotalers. Ireland has a surprising number of teetotalers for example.
Why do they need to be best friends? Isn’t it enough to be fellow coworkers who don’t threaten each other and shit themselves at the water cooler?
