That’s not “enshittification”.
Yup, it’s meant to describe the gradual process of changes to a thing, like a service or product, that are hostile to the user as a means to make extra profit – paywalling formerly free features (or just removing them) is the classic pattern. Changing branding text is not.
Ironic that we’re witnessing the enshittification of the word “enshittification”.
