Because in all likelihood the northern hemisphere will remain warm well into winter…

Not to worry, the smoke from Canadian wildfires will temporarily cool things down wherever it spreads, except you know…in Canada. We’ll need some of that US smoke to make it up here to block the sun a bit.

What does a super el nino mean?
One that lasts longer and is much hotter.
Probably should do what you can now to get a few preps in place. Think of it like tornado/earthquake prep. Good to have just in case shit hits the fan.
