I wanted to know about your experience as many digital nomads are in this group. As a reseller who is currently working with AIRALO & SAILY, I had a query about what a buyer of esim actually looks for when it searches online for best esim.

Also what are your reviews on AIRALO & Saily. I do 50% off, so people get their esims half of their prices listed online. curious to know about their image.

Never heard of the other one, but Saily is one of those brands that gets pushed by sponsored Youtubers so much that it automatically makes me suspicious. Basically, this comic.

I’ve never heard of them, but looking it up, it appears Saily is run by the same company as NordVPN, so it’s not surprising to hear they do lots of advertising.

It’s fine. I’ve used Airalo a couple times. I suggest getting a little more data than you think you might need, and follow the instructions carefully when setting it up. Also disable data roaming on your main SIM after you set up the eSIM. Good luck!

Same. Airalo is pretty easy and convenient and allows top off. Only used that, orange, and maybe one other.

Ime theyre all pretty easy to use and definitely recommend turning off your primary sim. Some telcos charge daily just for having it on and it connecting at all to foreign towers.

Used saily once: only works through the app, had to contact customer service so they send me a QR code to set it up. (Could not install the app because it claimed my device was not compatible)

Used airalo a lot in ~5 countries: works fully through the browser or app. No hassle to manage esims for multiple devices from a single device.

In all cases, what I looked for: what’s available. Its not like there is much choice. You search for the country and then take the one that fits for the duration you are there. I usually get the smallest data that covers the whole time I am in the country. Unlimited is not worth it if you have WiFi at most places. When i stay for 1+ months its basically always better to get a physical sim. So I get a 3 day esim to cover the first days and then get a sim at a store (not the airport).

When traveling I usually get two esims from different providers, for some level of redundancy
