Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is it like using an esim while traveling?
5·7 days agoIt’s fine. I’ve used Airalo a couple times. I suggest getting a little more data than you think you might need, and follow the instructions carefully when setting it up. Also disable data roaming on your main SIM after you set up the eSIM. Good luck!
Unfortunately, while I feel some compassion for the sign setter, this doesn’t help me. What I have seen cannot be unseen.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Does "learning to make beef jerky" count as a hobby for someone wishing to grow their hobbies? Or is it more accurately described as a culinary skill similar to barbecuing or slow-cooking or smoking?
1·12 days agoIMHO, choose gardening. You will still have time to experiment with jerky.
As far as what counts, it’s mostly up to you! There is no group that cares about judging you for this.
Personally I have found gardening to be quite rewarding so I’m recommending you start there.
