Everyone knows that torture does not result in useful information. So engaging in the practice is just willful barbarism.

@kimlockhartga @Miro_Collas @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com Most of the torture routine of Palestinians in the occupation jails are not related to any interrogation. In cases they are, it’s mostly to force confession.

@kimlockhartga @Miro_Collas @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com A friend an comrade of mine, 75 old man, who is also a leading figure of a Palestinian movement in 48 territories, has lately spent 6 months in “administrative detention” without trail or charges. during that time, every walk out of the cell, for clinic, for meeting layer or for attending court session (in video) was including beating him, pushing him while walking down stairs and forcing him to crawl on his knees. The beatings broke his leg and caused severe head trauma.

@bhyoram That’s just horrific! So much for Israel’s propaganda.

@Miro_Collas @kimlockhartga @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com Sadly, this is the tip of the iceberg. This is how they treat someone with Israeli citizenship, lawyers and political support network. what they do to prisoners from Gaza and the west bank is beyond imagination.
