I don’t know specifically, but both options seem likely. The main criteria is a broken household, and hatred for European values. Funny enough, while most of them are muslim, religion play very little role in any of this (ie it is not religiously motivated but rather facilitated). It is rather a factor in the selection criteria. Migrant heritage plays a far bigger role.

Is there a prominent country of origin? I would assume it to be Turkey, not because of any inherently Turkish attributes, but because of the fact, that migration from Turkey played an outstandingly dominant role in the history of post-war German immigration up until very recently.

Most likely Lebanese/levant accent, as many settled in during the lebanese civil war. But some lebanese would say these are kurds masquerading as lebanese (referecing some last names, but I still doubt the validity of such claims). Either way, north african are also involved, and possibly albanias albeit to a far lesser extent. I am not aware of any turk gangs though, but I have not lived in Germany so.
