I think if people want to make actual satire that hits the same way satire used to hit, they have to go completely in the opposite direction. The wacky zany alternate reality the satire depicts is gonna have to be like a normal boring society where Trump is like a normal bald old politician who goes up there and debates at length about taxes and absolutely never says anything weird about his daughter.
