What the title says. In Apollo, you were able to configure that if you swipe a comment left, it collapses the entire comment tree from the current top level comment.

That made it easy to jump to the next top level comment after reading responses a few levels deep, if you know what I mean.

The next update is going to feature a MUCH better form of swiping 👍

Oh by the way, and sorry for double posting here…

It would be also great if the then collapsed top level comment could be at the top of the screen, so the next open comment tree would be right below. Now, the next open tree is way up so I have to scroll.

      God, I miss Apollo… LOL

Please give me the option to turn it off though, I like swiping just as much as the next guy, but as a proud lurker I’d love it if I could swipe left anywhere and it would just take me back a page

Oh yes, this one too, but what you describe should be swipe right. And yes, it should all be configurable.

I can tap to do that like I did in Apollo. That said, I do want to customise swipes back to what I’m used to.

Tapping closes only comments further downstream from the comment you tapped though, as it should. Swiping on the other hand should close the entire top level comment tree the swiped comment belongs to.
