The base of my kettle is what died. I found out it’s best not to leave them plugged in 24/7- there is some part in the base that is prone to burning out eventually if left plugged in. I might still replace the base eventually bc the bonavita was much nicer than what I’m using now.
The metal mittens are solid but can be slippery if you’re not careful. Thanks for sharing your station!
