These two remind me of the early Apple fanboys, completely talking around all the bad parts and focusing only on perceived good parts. Except, here, they’re fan-ing on a decision that was made a long time ago (using tempered glass on side windows) for exactly the reason they state is ‘bad’–it explodes into a bunch of non-sharp shards. This decision was made, and agreed upon by auto manufacturers, to prevent people getting stuck in cars on fire. Internal mechanical releases do nothing when the person inside is unconscious or is a toddler, as is in this case.
I read it as miles. If some_guy meant meters, then that would add such a new level of comedy to it hahaha
Redditors moved here, and brought those habits with them, I guess 🤷♂️
That was dank episode, too
We won’t do that, we promise.
If you think it’s random, then we’re done here.
Read the rest of the comment, before you get angry. You may find that full opinions are a little easier to swallow than the partial you chose to hear.
Ignoring all that. Are he and Biden truly the best that that country has to offer, out of the ~290mil ~184mil native-born citizens over age 35?? I don’t believe that.
Edit: added restrictions on the age group.
I like that boulder. That is a nice boulder.
And hopefully you got paid for mileage…
To do:
Had they read the message, it would have saved them a lot of time waiting for the solution that would have been near instantaneous otherwise. But their 0.5% is more important to them than your 99.5%. Hopefully they’re really good at bringing money into the company, because their ability to save labor money for the company is abysmal.
That’s really great to hear. I’m currently on CalyxOS and, besides the Google crap added to stock, it’s very close to the last time I used stock (granted, it’s been a hot minute). Next phone will likely be GrapheneOS, as I believe my posture has shifted since I decided on CalyxOS, and the lack of persistent notifications for background tasks (such as Signal) was the main deterrent that allowed me to settle into a more relaxed posture.
If the app offers a feedback option through the app itself, I usually use it. But if I have to go into a git for feedback, I usually don’t. Nothing against git, I just don’t ever remember when I’m in front of the computer. [I, too, would enjoy an android app. On fdroid, if at all possible, but playstore is fine, too, if you don’t want to foss your project.]
[Edit]
I mean… they do have protein, fruits, and such, so, yes. But I was craving some pasta. I guess a crepe is like a sweet pasta. I did feel the craving vanish… …
I was traveling this week, and saw a couple very obviously AI-generated billboards for the city’s downtown. Something about downtown eats or something. They were, and I’m being extremely nice here, absolutely hideous. I have never, in all my life, seen such ugly billboards. And, while they were different, they were basically the same thing (does that make sense? Them being different, but the same? Not really sure how else to describe it). I was actually looking for a place to eat, and those things deterred me from going downtown. Ended up finding this cute little coffeeshop in some random side road. No food, but holy crap the coffee and crepes were good!
Agreed. Probably the only One of the good thing about the win98 BSOD is that it crashed/froze along with the computer, and the PC required a hard reboot. Yeah, I know, not intentional, but it allowed me to fully read the message.
Edit: crossout
Looks like Salvador Vulcano.
